Just 20 years ago, in 1990, same sex orientation was widely considered curable by medical treatment or something people would simply choose.

Today, the Czech Republic, as the first postcommunist country, has same sex partnership in its legislation and GL community has its regular programme in the public television…

On Monday, May 30 we will guide you at the Czech Centre through a remarkable change of the perception of gay & lesbian minority in the Czech Republic by screening two TV programmes: TABU (1990) – 45 minutes and “Q” (2010) – 3×25 minutes.
